Pelikani Mondialpol Faces Lawsuit Over Unpaid Fees After Complaint by AKEP
The company “Pelikani Mondialpol” sh.a., led by Vesel Demiraj, is facing legal proceedings at the Administrative Court of First Instance after a lawsuit filed by the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority (AKEP).
According to case information obtained by InfoNews.al, the plaintiff—AKEP—is requesting that the defendant, Pelikani Security, pay outstanding financial obligations to AKEP and the state budget amounting to 303,599 Albanian lek. These obligations are related to fees for radiocommunication services, determined under the relevant regulations governing the use of such services.
The case is currently in the trial phase, and the Administrative Court has publicly announced the upcoming proceedings.
The court hearing is scheduled for April 22, 2026, and the case will be presided over by Judge Dorentina Mulaj. The central issue of the hearing will be AKEP’s request for the settlement of the financial obligations that the regulatory authority claims are owed by “Pelikani Mondialpol” sh.a.
The court is expected to review the evidence and the arguments presented by both parties before issuing a final decision on the matter.
